Development of a software intermediate layer for smooth SAP connection
The client - a German IT and software service provider - had specialized in the niche segment "digital document processes".
As part of a portfolio expansion, an issue arose requiring Synka to approach Exercim's experts for a solution.

The challenge
Synka planned to offer its customers even more functions for controlling, monitoring and managing print jobs. To do this, the OM Plus print management software had to be linked to SAP.
The catch: SAP generates some PostScript formats that OM Plus cannot handle!

The solution
The inclusion of an intermediate software layer was intended to solve the problem.
The goal was to filter out the unsuitable PostScript formats so that SAP would only output formats that were compatible with OM Plus.

The result
Exercim developed the required intermediate layer: As requested by the client, OM Plus can now process and print all PostScript formats generated by SAP.
A small development project that took only three days from briefing to final implementation!
